Molybdenum Vanadium

As the name suggests, molybdenum vanadium steel is made of stainless steel blades, molybdenum (Mo), which is less likely to affect hardness and strength against temperature rise during quenching, and vanadium, which prevents softening and becomes viscous during tempering. (V) is added to this material to dramatically improve wear resistance and toughness. Molybdenum is also used as a scalpel in the medical industry because its hardness and strength are less likely to be affected by temperature rise and it is also resistant to rust.
