 This is a custom kitchen knife made in Seki City. Even most Japanese have never seen this kitchen knife during their lifetime. It is a rare limited item that is rarely produced. Kajin knives offer many kind of steel type, handles. There are a few makers that makes ZDP189 kitchen Knives in Japan. As for ZDP189 Western kitchen knives, there are even fewer, maybe only two or three makers in Japan.

 ZDP189 is a finest stainless steel material manufactured by Hitachi Metals, Ltd., one of Japan's leading steel manufacturers. It excels in the durability of sharpness and is also resistant to rust. In particular, the hardness (hardness of steel material) that affects the sustainability of sharpness is the top class among all blade steel materials. 

 Avalon shells is also used. Furthermore, the Damascus double bolster is used. This knife can be said to be illusions.
